Man rescued from Silo.
The Arcadia Fire Brigade was called to an incident at the farm property ‘Castle Bend’, situated on Ross Road Arcadia at 1530hrs on November 3rd. A man was injured when he fell six meters to the bottom of a grain silo. The Brigade provided support in case of fire for the other emergency services that carried out the rescue of the injured man. Ambulance officers treated the man at the scene; before the Ambulance Air Wing conveyed him to a Melbourne hospital. |
